Designed by Mehdi Khorami, this project was a unique undertaking in that we had to work with stone on the same surface. We used carving methods to create a seamless jointery between the parquet and the stone areas of floor, resulting in a pleasing visual.
We used Canadian oak in solid form for its durability and texture. The design is from our Herringbone collection and the colouring is a result of a mixing technique where we mixed stain with water base and three different kinds of oils. The bespoke colouring has created a unique look and feel that stands out without being overwhelming.
